COOPERATIVE LEARNING
Hello everyone
I hope from the bottom of my heart that you all are well, protected and safe.
This is the post of the week and I will talk for cooperative learning. To be honest, I had to google it before writing. And I am sure that you are wondering what is cooperative learning?
Well, cooperative learning is an educational approach which aims to organize classroom activities into academic and social learning experiences. In other words, it is the process of breaking the classroom into small groups so they discover a new concept together and help each other learn.
Studies have shown that PBL makes the class more productive than individual work.
Students are in the center of the lesson and this increases their self confidence.
Students teach students and this makes the teacher's job easier.
Students are better prepared for the world of work, and so they know their path..
I have always thought of this method as a productive one. A good way to use cooperative learning is divide the students into levels and to give them level-based tasks. Students knowledge is not the same and I believe this would be very productive.
This also helps them cooperate with each other and develops the spirit of the group. Having the spirit of the group makes you a successful person in the future. The sooner you learn it the better it is, so I fully recommend it.
Cooperating increases self-confidence because you always know there is someone to support you.
I really hope that education will include cooperative learning as soon as possible where it misses because it is an important component.
I would really appreciate your opinions about this blog. Please let me know in the comments below.
Until next time, stay safe & stay home!
